The University of Benin Teaching Hospital (UBTH) College of Nursing Sciences is now accepting applications for its 18-month Post Registered Nursing Programme for the 2025/2026 academic session. This programme leads to a Registered Nurse (RN) certificate.
Entry Requirements
Applicants must:
- Be at least 18 years old.
- Have five credit passes in WASCE, GCE, or NECO, including English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Physics, and Chemistry (in not more than two sittings).
- Hold a Registered Midwifery (RM) or Registered Psychiatric Nurse (RPN) certificate.
- Have at least one year of post-registration nursing experience.
- Upload a reference letter from the last or current employer.
- Upload a valid practising licence.
Application Process
- Forms are available online via the UBTH College of Nursing Portal.
- Application Fee: ₦15,000 (non-refundable), payable via UBTH Treasury Single Account (TSA) on Remita under “Training School – Department of Nursing, College of Nursing Sciences.”
- Additional Payment: ₦500 to the Nursing and Midwifery Council Committee, Edo State.
- Account Number: 2004854377 (First Bank of Nigeria).
- Submission Deadline: Friday, 14 February 2025.
Examination Details
- Date: Saturday, 22 February 2025.
- Venue: College of Nursing Sciences, UBTH, Benin City.
- Time: 10:00 AM.
