The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has rescheduled the commencement of the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) registration. Initially set for Friday, January 31, 2025, the registration will now begin on Monday, February 3, 2025.
According to JAMB, the adjustment is necessary to implement crucial modifications to its registration templates. This follows the recent suspension of some law programmes in selected universities by the Council for Legal Education. Additionally, JAMB identified certain Computer-Based Test (CBT) centres that secured approval using deceptive means, prompting a review and subsequent disapproval of such centres.
The Board acknowledges the inconvenience this may cause to candidates and stakeholders, offering sincere apologies. The extra time will allow for necessary corrections and ensure a seamless registration process.
