Located in Damaturu, Yobe State, Nigeria, is the public institution known as Bukar Abba Ibrahim institution (BAIU). It was founded to offer Yobe State residents and others high-quality postsecondary education. In honor of Alhaji Bukar Abba Ibrahim, a former Yobe State governor, who made significant contributions to the state’s development, the university bears his name.
