The National Youth Service Corp has begun registration and enrollment of candidate for Batch B.
The national youth service corps who recently completed camp training, orientation and placement of youth corps in their places of primary assignment for Batch A stream II candidates in May has since 8th June began mobilization for batch B. Many were left astonished and equally frustrated as the exercise came to an abrupt end within twenty-four hours of operation.
Not long after the portal was opened, on a Saturday 8th June the portal was suddenly shutdown. This left many wondering and confused. Candidates were left worried as many took to their social handles to panick. The prevailing question everyone seemed to be asking was if the NYSC portal/website had experienced a technical problem and if there will be an extension of deadline.
The NYSC management said the portal was shutdown because the maximum number of candidates needed for that stream were met, but also assured that the portal will reopen for Batch B stream II very soon.
It further went on to stress that the news of an extension of deadline being peddled around on the internet is fake and should be disregarded as it it not from their office.
All batch candidates who were unable to access the portal and register the last time are to wait expectantly on the soon to be anmouced date.
