UNIBEN JAMB Cut-Off Mark for 2025 Admission
For the 2025/2026 academic session, the minimum JAMB score required to be eligible to apply for UNIBEN Post-UTME is 200. However, for highly competitive and professional courses such as Medicine, Law, Pharmacy, and Engineering, scoring 250 or above significantly improves your chances of being considered for admission.
Keep in mind that meeting the minimum cut-off does not automatically guarantee admission—especially for oversubscribed programs—so aim to exceed the cutoff by a wide margin where possible.
UTME Admission Requirements at UNIBEN
Candidates applying through the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) must fulfill the following:
- Choice of Institution: UNIBEN must be selected as the first choice during JAMB registration. Candidates who initially selected a different institution can change to UNIBEN via the JAMB portal.
- Minimum JAMB Score: A score of at least 200 is mandatory. Courses like Law, Medicine, and Pharmacy may require significantly higher scores.
- O’Level Requirements: At least five (5) credit passes in relevant subjects including English Language and Mathematics, obtained in no more than two sittings. For professional courses, credits must typically be earned in a single sitting.
- Age Requirement: Candidates must be at least 16 years old at the time of application.
- Post-UTME Participation: Candidates must register for and sit for the UNIBEN Post-UTME screening as part of the selection process.
