The University of Abuja International Institute for Publishing Studies (UIIPS) has opened applications for its professional Master’s degree in Publishing Studies (MPS) for the 2023/2024 academic session, Stream II.

About the UIIPS Programme

The UIIPS programme is designed to establish professional and academic excellence in publishing studies in Nigeria.

Admission Requirements

Applicants must meet the following criteria:

• Five O’ Level credit passes, including English and Mathematics, obtained in no more than two sittings.
• A Bachelor’s Honours degree in any field from a recognised university.
• Higher National Diploma (HND) or Postgraduate Diploma (PGD) from a recognised institution.
• Other professional qualifications acceptable to the University of Abuja.

Programme Duration

UIIPS accepts applications for two intakes annually:

• November intake for January admissions.
• June intake for August admissions.

Application Process

To apply, follow these steps:

1. Pay a non-refundable application fee of ₦30,000 through REMITA on the University of Abuja Portal.
2. Visit the UNIABUJA Application Portal.
3. Select “International Institute for Publishing Studies” from the options.
4. Fill in your details, including:
   • Surname
   • First name
   • Other name
   • Email address
   • Phone number
5. Click “Next” to generate your RRR for payment.
6. Complete payment using MasterCard or Visa Card via REMITA.
7. After payment, you will be redirected to the portal, where an application number will be generated.
8. Log in using the application number and your surname as the password to complete the application form.

The application period closes on Sunday, 19th January 2025.
