Al-Hikmah University, Ilorin, is now accepting applications for its Professional Certificate in Matrimonial Conflict Management. The programme, offered through the Counselling and Human Development Centre, provides candidates with expertise in conflict assessment, resolution, and insights into careers in conflict management.
Programme Objectives
Participants will:
- Learn techniques in conflict assessment and resolution.
- Understand the effects of divorce and marital conflicts.
- Explore career opportunities in the conflict management field.
Eligibility
The programme is open to:
- Counsellors
- Legal practitioners
- Social workers
- Psychologists
- Clergies
- Other professionals in related fields
Minimum Qualification
Candidates must hold a first-degree in one of the following fields:
- Counselling
- Psychology
- Law
- Sociology
Duration and Study Period
- The programme runs for three months.
- Classes are scheduled as follows:
- Fridays: 3 PM – 6 PM
- Saturdays:
- 9 AM – 11 AM
- 11 AM – 1 PM
- 2 PM – 4 PM
Fees
- Application Fee: N5,000
- Programme Fee: N40,000
