About the Siena International Excellence Scholarship

This scholarship is part of the University of Siena’s commitment to enhance the global diversity of its academic programs. It is designed exclusively for international students who have obtained their Bachelor’s degrees outside Italy and who are applying to specific Master’s programs at the university.

Applicants must not be residents of Italy and must comply with eligibility conditions related to their nationality and prior academic background.

Who Can Apply?

To be eligible for the University of Siena International Excellence Scholarship, you must:

• Hold a non-Italian Bachelor’s degree that qualifies you for a Master’s in Italy
• Not hold Italian citizenship (unless you hold dual citizenship)
• Not reside in Italy or hold a permit that exempts you from obtaining a student visa
• Have applied for one (or up to two) of the eligible Master’s programs through the Unisi application portal

Both newly applying and already-accepted students are eligible.

How to Apply – Step-by-Step Guide

1. Apply to one of the eligible Master’s programs at apply.unisi.it
2. Once you apply for a course, proceed to fill out the scholarship application listed under the “Scholarship” section
3. Upload a short 1-minute self-recorded video explaining your motivation
4. Indicate the Master’s program(s) you applied to
5. Submit your application before May 6, 2025

Note: Only candidates who apply for admission to an eligible program will be considered for the scholarship.
