The UCL Humanitarian Scholarship 2025 supports students who have been displaced by armed conflict or are at serious risk due to such conflicts. This fully funded scholarship enables recipients to pursue a Master’s degree at University College London (UCL), covering tuition fees, living expenses, visa costs, and a return flight.

Scholarship Benefits

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible, applicants must:

• Be at serious risk due to armed conflict.
• Have been displaced or forced to leave their home country within the last three years due to armed conflict.
• Have sought international protection outside the UK.
• Be eligible to pay the Overseas fee rate.
• Come from a low-income background.
• Not already hold a qualification at the same level or higher than the Master’s degree they are applying for.
• Have an offer of admission for a full-time Master’s program at UCL before the scholarship panel review in June 2025.
• Note: Distance learning and part-time programs are not eligible.

Selection Process

• Scholarships are awarded based on financial need.
• Applications are reviewed and selected by the UCL Humanitarian Scholarship Panel.

1. Apply for admission to UCL – Before applying for the scholarship, you must submit a Master’s degree application to UCL, including reference submissions.
2. Submit your scholarship application – Once you receive an offer from UCL, apply for the UCL Humanitarian Scholarship.
