What to Expect from the Program

Launched in 2023, the UNDP Cybersecurity Training began with 22 participants—many of whom now lead digital projects or are employed in tech roles. This year, the program scales up to train 150 tech enthusiasts, equipping them with the practical skills and tools to thrive in Africa’s digital economy.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible, you must:

  • Be aged between 18 and 35 years
  • Be a citizen of one of 24 countries in West or Central Africa
  • Be currently enrolled in or a graduate of a university or technical institution
  • Show interest and basic knowledge in cybersecurity
  • Be proficient in English or French
  • Possess a valid national ID or international passport
