The Nigeria Prize for Literature 2025 is now accepting entries. This prestigious competition awards USD 100,000 to the best book by a Nigerian author in Prose Fiction.
Prize Award
- USD 100,000 for the best book by a Nigerian author.
Eligibility
Applicants must:
- Be Nigerian citizens and provide a photocopy of a Nigerian passport or National Identity Card.
- Submit one published book (unpublished works are not accepted).
- Ensure the book was published in 2022 or later.
- Not submit books that have been previously entered for the competition, even if revised or republished.
- Not be members of the Advisory Board, Panel of Judges, or NLNG staff and their families.
Submission Process
- Obtain the application form from The Nigeria Prizes Website.
- Print and submit the form with twelve hard copies and one e-copy of the book.
- Send entries to one of the following locations:
