Scholarship Overview

This prestigious partnership between the Mastercard Foundation and Arizona State University (ASU) will support 120 African students from 2025 to 2030. The program offers a two-year on-campus master’s degree focusing on technology and innovation, preparing students to excel in the global digital economy.

Eligibility Requirements

To qualify for the Mastercard Foundation/Arizona State University Innovation and Technology Scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria:

Be a citizen of an African country.
Demonstrate leadership skills and a commitment to ethical leadership.
Be actively engaged in community service.
Hold an undergraduate degree by July 2025.
Be between 18 and 33 years old by the application deadline.
Meet the academic requirements for admission, including English proficiency.
Be able to reside in Phoenix, Arizona for the duration of the program.
