About Khalifa University Graduate Scholarship
Khalifa University of Science and Technology, based in Abu Dhabi, provides merit-based graduate scholarships to international and domestic students. These scholarships are awarded automatically during the admission process—no separate application is required.
Scholarship slots are limited and awarded based on academic merit, English proficiency, GRE scores, and alignment with the university’s strategic priorities.
Scholarship Benefits
If awarded a fully funded Tier Scholarship, you will receive:
- Full tuition fees
- Basic monthly stipend of AED 20,000
- Additional monthly allowance of AED 20,000 (subject to eligibility and performance)
- Free textbooks
- Medical insurance for full-time international students
- Airfare (mobilization & demobilization)
- UAE visa fee coverage
- Funding to attend international conferences (with approval)
- Post-study work commitment with Khalifa University or its partners
Eligibility Requirements
To qualify for the 2025 Khalifa University Graduate Scholarship, applicants must meet the following:
Academic Qualifications:
- Direct PhD Admission: Bachelor’s degree with minimum CGPA 3.5/4.0
- Master’s Admission: Relevant Master’s degree with CGPA 3.25/4.0
English Language Proficiency (any one of):
- TOEFL iBT score of 91+
- IELTS score of 6.5+
- EmSAT English score of 1550+
Other Requirements:
- GRE quantitative score of 150+
- Two referee recommendations
- Statement of Purpose (500–1000 words)
- Research Statement (for PhD applicants only)
- Admission interview

- Equivalency certificate (for degrees outside UAE)
- Academic transcripts
- English proficiency test scores
- GRE score report (sent to code 0822)
- CV/Resume
