The Lagos State Science Research and Innovation Council (LASRIC) is now accepting applications for the STEM Challenge 2025. This program is aimed at fostering innovative, fund-ready solutions that enhance STEM education at all levels, from primary schools to tertiary institutions. Focus Areas for the Challenge

Participants are encouraged to submit solutions that align with the following areas:

• FutureTech: Innovations shaping the future of technology and education.

• AI and Robotics: Solutions involving artificial intelligence and robotics for educational purposes.

• GreenTech: Technology aimed at promoting environmental sustainability.

• Inclusivity Tech: Innovations that ensure STEM education is accessible to all.

• EdTech and General Tech Skills: Solutions focused on enhancing educational tools and technology skills.

• Capacity Building: Initiatives that build capacity in STEM education for students and educators.

The goal is to foster impactful ideas that contribute to both education and sustainability.

Eligibility Criteria

To qualify for participation, applicants must:

• Present a valid means of identification.

• Own a registered and operational startup in Lagos.

• Be at least 18 years old.

• Submit an original product, tool, solution, or technique.

• Have a Minimum Viable Product (MVP) with proven impact on verifiable beneficiaries.

Not owe the Lagos State Government for any loans or support funds, such as LSETF.

Application Information

LASRIC is particularly interested in initiatives with scalable solutions that offer high value. These solutions may be eligible for equity investment from LASRIC.
