Innovators and startups are encouraged to submit ideas in the following areas:

• Circular Economy: Solutions aimed at reducing waste, improving recycling, and ensuring the sustainable use of resources.

• Agritech and Food Security: Innovations focused on boosting food production, enhancing supply chains, and ensuring sustainability.

• Emerging Technologies: Projects leveraging technologies like blockchain, quantum computing, artificial intelligence, and cloud computing.

These areas aim to foster growth and sustainability across various sectors.

Benefits for Participants

Participants in the challenge will receive:

• Funding for the development of their innovations.

• Support to scale their solutions into impactful results.

• The opportunity to represent Lagos State as a LASRIC ambassador on global platforms.

Eligibility Requirements

To qualify for participation, applicants must:

• Be a Nigerian citizen aged 18 or older.

• Present valid identification, such as a LASSRA Card.

• Operate a registered business within Lagos State.

• Have a Minimum Viable Product (MVP) with active users.

• Be capable of funding travel and associated costs for their team.

• Provide evidence of payment of Personal Income Tax in Lagos State.

• Submit an original and innovative solution.

• Align with LASRIC’s goals and vision.

• Not owe funds to Lagos State Government initiatives (e.g., LSETF loans).

• Disclose any criminal history, if applicable.
