Step 1: Purchase a NECO Result Token

You can buy the token online through NECO’s official result portal:

• Visit https://result.neco.gov.ng
• Click on “Purchase Token”
• Log in if you already have an account or register if you’re a new user
• After payment, your token will appear in your account dashboard under “My Tokens”

Step 2: Check Your NECO Result

Once you have the token, proceed to check your result:

• Go to https://result.neco.gov.ng
• Select the Exam Year (e.g., 2024)
• Choose the Exam Type (SSCE Internal or SSCE External)
• Enter your Token Number
• Input your Examination Number
• Click “Check My Result”

How to Check NECO 2024 Result via SMS

If you prefer to receive your result through text message, follow these steps:

1. Type a message using this format:
   NECO*ExamNo*PIN*ExamYear
   (No spaces or errors. For example: NECO*4250101001*123456789012*2024)
2. Send the message to the NECO official SMS shortcode (ensure you’re using an MTN, Airtel, or Glo SIM card).
3. Wait for your result to be sent to your phone via SMS.

Note: This method still requires a valid result checking token.

Important Notes

• Double-check your examination number before submitting to avoid errors.
• Tokens can be reused up to five times for the same candidate.
• Do not share your token with others to avoid unauthorized access.
