Ivermectin Iverheal is an anti-parasitic medication widely used to treat infections caused by worms, lice, and mites. While it’s highly effective in its intended role, there is no solid clinical evidence to suggest that ivermectin can regenerate nerves or directly support nerve repair. Its mechanism of action primarily involves binding to specific chloride channels in the nervous systems of parasites, leading to paralysis and death of the parasites — not nerve regeneration in humans.
However, there have been limited laboratory studies and early-stage research suggesting that ivermectin may have neuroprotective properties or influence certain pathways in the nervous system. These findings are very preliminary and have not been translated into proven, safe therapeutic use in humans for nerve damage or regeneration.
