Economics is the branch of social science that deals with the production and distribution and consumption of goods and services and their management. It is the science of the production and distribution of wealth.
In Economics you learn about demand and supply, taxation, international trade, monetary policy, circular flow of income amongst other things that help you understand individuals, corporate and government financial behaviour.
It is for a duration of four years after which you’re awarded a Bachelor of Science in (B.Sc. Economics)

School Requirements
Candidates for admission into four-year degree in Economics should possess a Senior Secondary School Certificate, GCE, NECO or their equivalents with at least five credit passes in not more than two sittings, including Mathematics, English Language and Economics.
