The University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN) invites applications for its Inter-University Transfer programme for the 2024/2025 academic session. This programme provides an opportunity for students from other universities to transfer to UNN and continue their studies.

Eligibility Requirements

• Applicants must meet UNN and departmental entry requirements before gaining admission into their current university.

• A minimum cumulative grade point average (CGPA) of 2.95 on a 5.00-point scale is required.

• Students must not have spent more than two academic sessions at their current institution.

• The total number of transfer admissions cannot exceed 4% of the departmental quota in a year.

• Applicants must have a valid JAMB score that meets or exceeds the UNN admission cut-off for their intended course in the year of entry.

• Transfers are only permitted for the same course the student is currently studying.

• Transfers beyond the second year of study are not allowed.

• Applicants must currently be enrolled at their university of transfer.

Application Guidelines

1. Visit the UNN website or portal.
2. Log in using your telephone number to generate a payment invoice.
3. Pay the application fee of ₦300,000 via the Remita platform at any commercial bank, including UNN Microfinance Bank.
4. Use the Remita invoice number to complete the payment process.
5. Return to the portal and complete the Inter-University Transfer form online using your telephone and invoice numbers.
6. Print the completed form and submit it to the Registry (Admissions) along with:
   • A copy of your O-Level results.
   • A valid WAEC/NECO result checker (scratch card).

7. Forward the last page of the transfer form to the Registrar of your current university for completion.
8. Ensure your current Registrar sends the completed release form and your transcript directly to the Registrar, UNN.
9. Applications not completed online will not be processed.

Important Dates

• Start Date: Monday, 13 January 2025

• Deadline: Friday, 31 January 2025

All faculty recommendations must be submitted to the Admissions Office for collation and consideration by the Senate Entrance Board.
