Admissions Are Now Open
UNIMED is Nigeria’s first specialized medical university, established in 2014 and known for its uninterrupted academic calendar and rigorous health science programmes. The institution is currently accepting applications from qualified UTME and Direct Entry candidates for the 2025/2026 session.

Who Can Apply?
For UTME Candidates
You’re eligible if you:
- Scored 150 or above in the 2025 UTME
- Selected UNIMED as first choice, or are willing to switch
- Have the correct subject combination, typically English, Biology, Chemistry, and Physics. (For Computer Science, Physics, and Chemistry, replace Biology with Mathematics)
- Possess five (5) credit passes in English, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, and Physics (WAEC, NECO, or GCE)
- Note: For Medicine, Dentistry, and Physiotherapy, the five credits must be obtained in one sitting only.
For Direct Entry (DE) Candidates
You can apply if:
- You chose UNIMED as your first choice, or are ready to change to it
- You possess a minimum of 10 points from A-Level, JUPEB, IJMB, ND, HND, or a university degree
- You meet the required O’Level subject requirements for your chosen course
Important:
Direct Entry applicants must submit transcripts to:
- Office of the Registrar, UNIMED, Laje Road Campus, Ondo City
- And email a copy to: transcripts@unimed.edu.ng
Applications without transcripts will not be processed.
How to Apply
Follow these steps carefully:
- Visit the UNIMED portal: https://www.unimed.edu.ng
- Click on “Admissions” and go to the Post-UTME Portal
- Click “PAYMENT” and pay the required fee using a Naira debit card
- Print your payment receipt from the invoice page
- Log in using your UTME or DE registration number and payment transaction ID
- Complete and submit your application form
❗ Important: Use only the official UNIMED website. The school does not accept payments through agents or third parties.
Screening Schedule
Post UTME and Direct Entry screening will take place on:
- Tuesday, August 26, 2025
- Wednesday, August 27, 2025
- Thursday, August 28, 2025
Venue, time, and other screening instructions will be displayed on your application portal after successful registration.
What to Bring on the Screening Day
- Original JAMB UTME result slip or DE registration slip
- Printed copy of your completed screening form
Failure to show up for the screening automatically disqualifies you from admission.
- UNIMED does not use agents. Do not pay any individual promising admission.
