Admission Requirements for Igbinedion University Post UTME 2025/2026
General Requirements
To be eligible for admission into Igbinedion University, you must:
- Have at least five (5) credit passes in relevant subjects, including English Language and Mathematics, from WAEC, NECO, GCE, or NABTEB. Results must not be from more than two sittings.
- Score a minimum of 160 in the 2025 UTME.
- For Law, a credit pass in Literature in English is compulsory.
- Candidates awaiting results may apply, but their results must be ready by September 2025.
Direct Entry Admission (200 Level)
Direct Entry candidates excluding Medicine, Pharmacy, Nursing, Medical Laboratory Science, and Law must possess one of the following:
- Two A-Level passes and one subsidiary subject in relevant combinations.
- Diploma or NCE with at least a credit pass in a related field.
- A valid IJMB result.
- A first degree in a relevant discipline.
All Direct Entry candidates must also:
- Have five O’Level credit passes (including English and Mathematics).
- Provide proof of JAMB registration.
Transfer Admission
Transfer students must submit:
- An official academic transcript from their current institution.
- A JAMB transfer form signed by their current institution.
