Federal University, Gashua (FUGASHUA) has announced the commencement of its Post UTME and Direct Entry online screening exercise for the 2025/2026 academic session. Registration is currently open and will close on Sunday, 28th September 2025.

FUGASHUA Screening Form 2025/2026

The admission season is here again, and FUGASHUA has rolled out its application process for both UTME and Direct Entry candidates. Registration runs from Wednesday, 27th August 2025 to 28th September 2025, giving applicants just about four weeks to complete the process.

Eligibility Requirements

To qualify for the screening exercise, candidates must meet the following criteria:

UTME Candidates

• Must have chosen FUGASHUA as first choice.
• Must score 150 and above in JAMB.
• Some courses require higher cut-off marks:
  • 170 for Biochemistry, Computer Science, and Microbiology.
  • 160 for Biology.

Direct Entry Candidates

• Must have chosen FUGASHUA as first choice.
• Acceptable qualifications include:
  • NCE with Distinction, Credit, or Merit.
  • IJMB with at least 6 points.
  • National Diploma (ND) with Upper Credit.
  • HND with Lower Credit or higher.

How to Apply for FUGASHUA Post UTME / DE Screening

Application is strictly online, with a non-refundable fee of ₦2,000. Follow these steps:

1. Visit the FUGASHUA admission portal and create an account with your JAMB number, full name, email, and password.
2. Confirm your email and proceed to payment (online with ATM card or at a bank with generated invoice).
3. Log back in to complete your registration.
4. Select your course and provide your UTME details, including subject combinations and scores.
5. Fill in your bio-data and upload a passport photograph.
6. Enter at least five O’Level credits including English and Mathematics (maximum of two sittings).
7. Direct Entry candidates should provide details of previous institutions and upload result slips.
8. Upload all required documents, cross-check your details, and submit.

Once submitted, an on-screen message will confirm your application. Note that you cannot make changes afterward.

After Submission

Candidates should expect further announcements regarding the date for physical screening or aptitude test. Updates will be communicated via email and the university portal, so check them regularly.

Important Advice

Don’t wait until the final days of registration. Network issues, full cybercafés, or even power supply can disrupt your plans. Completing your registration early saves you stress and ensures you don’t miss the deadline.
