Who Can Apply? – Eligibility Criteria for Bowen Post-UTME 2024/2025
For UTME Candidates:
- Bowen University must be your first choice on JAMB. If it isn’t, you must apply for a change of institution through the JAMB portal before proceeding.
- You must have sat for the 2024 UTME.
- Candidates must possess at least five credit passes, including English Language, in relevant O’Level subjects (WAEC, NECO, GCE, or NABTEB), obtained in no more than two sittings.
- For competitive courses like Medicine, Nursing, and Physiotherapy, the five credits—including English and Mathematics—must be obtained in one sitting, and NABTEB is not accepted for these specific programs.
- All UTME applicants must participate in Bowen’s online screening exercise.
For Direct Entry (DE) Candidates:
- You must apply through JAMB Direct Entry.
- Candidates must possess an NCE, ND, IJMB, JUPEB, or equivalent, with at least Lower Credit or two A-Level passes in relevant subjects.
- All DE candidates must also satisfy the standard O’Level credit requirements.
- HND holders may be considered for 200 or 300-level admission based on departmental guidelines.
How to Apply for Bowen University Post-UTME Form – 2024/2025

Go to https://ugadmissions.bowen.edu.ng - Log in or create an account:
Use your JAMB registration number as your username. A default password will be assigned initially, which you can later change. - Generate your invoice:
Create a payment invoice for the application fee of ₦10,000. - Make your payment:
You can pay through:- Online payment using ATM card
- Direct bank deposit or transfer to Bowen Microfinance Bank
- In-person payments at First Bank or Sterling Bank
- Complete your application form:
- Upload a recent passport photograph
- Provide O’Level results with scratch card PINs for verification
- Fill in all required personal and academic details accurately
- Submit your application and print documents:
