Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH) has issued important updates for prospective corps members (PCMs) preparing for the NYSC mobilisation in November 2024. The notice addresses registration processes and guidelines, including instructions for married women regarding name discrepancies.

Key Information for Batch ‘C’ Prospective Corps Members

The NYSC portal is open for registration, particularly for leftover candidates from Batch ‘B’ Stream II who were unable to complete their registration. These individuals can now finalise their registration starting Thursday, 14th November 2024.

However, the NYSC headquarters has yet to authorise universities to upload the current Batch ‘C’ list for November mobilisation. PCMs are advised to remain patient as LAUTECH’s Directorate of Student Affairs manages the process.

Name Discrepancies and Compliance for Married Women

The NYSC has emphasized strict compliance regarding name consistency for registration, particularly for married women.

  • The name on the NYSC registration form must align with the name on the NIN, certificate, and JAMB Admission Letter.
  • Married women with discrepancies in their documents are required to revert to the name matching these official records.

Failure to address these discrepancies will result in an inability to register on the NYSC portal.

This announcement ensures prospective corps members are well-informed and adequately prepared for the registration process.
