The Nigerian Navy has opened applications for Batch 37 recruitment. This guide provides all the information you need about eligibility, required documents, and the application process.
General Information
- Applications are free and must be submitted online.
- Only one application per candidate is allowed; multiple submissions will result in disqualification.
- Applicants must print the following forms after completing the application:
- Acknowledgement Form
- Parent/Guardian Consent Form
- Local Government Attestation Form
- Guarantor’s Certification Form
Eligibility Requirements
General Criteria
- Applicants must be Nigerian citizens by birth with a valid National Identification Number (NIN).
- Height requirements:
- Male: Minimum of 1.69 metres
- Female: Minimum of 1.65 metres
- Applicants must be medically, physically, and psychologically fit.
- No prior convictions for criminal offenses.
Educational Qualifications and Age Limits
- O’Level or SSCE Holders:
- Age: 18–22 years (as of 31 December 2024)
- At least five credits, including Mathematics and English, in no more than two sittings (WAEC, NECO, GCE, or NABTEB) – results must not be older than 2018.
- OND or NCE Holders:
- Age: 18–26 years
- Chaplain/Imam Assistant or Driver/Mechanic Roles:
- Age: 18–28 years
- Five credits, including Mathematics and English, in no more than two sittings – results must not be older than 2014.
- Tradesmen (e.g., Tailoring, Carpentry, Welding):
- Must possess Trade Test Certificates and four passes (including English) in WAEC, NECO, GCE, or NABTEB – results must not be older than 2014.
- Allied Medical Professions:
- Must have an ND from a recognised institution and a valid practising license.
- Sports Professionals:
- Certificates or medals proving experience are required.
Application Process
- Visit the Official Portal: Apply online via the Nigerian Navy Recruitment Portal.
- Complete the Application: Fill out the form and upload the required documents.
- Print Necessary Forms: After submission, print the Acknowledgement, Consent, and Attestation forms.
- Attach Supporting Documents: Include a passport photo and photocopies of the signee’s ID (driver’s license, international passport, or national ID).
Important Dates
- Application Period: 15 November 2024 – 20 December 2024
- Aptitude Test: 6 January 2025 (held nationwide).
