The Lagos State University (LASU) School of Part-Time Studies (SPTS) has initiated the LASU Central Admissions Clearance Application (LACACA) for the 2024/2025 academic session.

The process began on Wednesday, 13th November 2024, and will conclude on Monday, 2nd December 2024. All admitted candidates are required to complete the LACACA operation before the deadline to secure their admission and obtain matriculation numbers. Failure to do so will result in the forfeiture of the provisional admission.

Payment of LACACA Clearance Fees

Before starting the clearance process, candidates must pay the LACACA fees along with acceptance and medical fees through the LASU e-payment portal.

To pay the LACACA fee:

  1. Visit the LASU Consult Limited page.
  2. Enter your application number in the provided field.
  3. Provide a valid email address and phone number.
  4. Click “Continue” to complete the payment.

Steps to Complete the LACACA Operation

Follow these steps to complete the clearance process:

  1. Access the LACACA Portal:
    • Go to the LASU website.
    • Hover over the “STUDENT” tab and select “SPTS LACACA.”
    • Enter your application form number and surname, then click “Submit.”
  2. Complete the Dashboard Tasks:
    • Validate Bio-data Details: Confirm your personal information.
    • Verify Disability Status: Indicate any disabilities if applicable.
    • Upload Required Documents:
      • O’Level scratch card details.
      • Original birth certificate.
      • Original SPTS admission letter.
      • Scanned copy of your signature.
    • Agree and Submit: Check the “I Agree” box and submit the application.

Progress Update: Upon successful submission, the clearance progress will update to 20%.

  1. Verification by Officials:
    University officials will review the submitted documents.

Monitoring Clearance Progress

Candidates must monitor the status of their clearance on the portal. If errors are identified during the verification process, candidates must correct them by making payments through the LASU e-payment portal.

When the clearance progress reaches 100%, candidates can:

  • Print their LASU Admission Clearance Certificate.
  • Receive their matriculation numbers.

Important Notes for Candidates

  • The online clearance process ends on Monday, 2nd December 2024.
  • Candidates who fail to complete the process within the given time frame will lose their admission.
  • Rejected candidates should check the portal for the reason for rejection and may need to visit the SPTS Office for clarification.
