The management of Lagos State University (LASU) has opened the online course registration portal for all full-time undergraduate students for the First Semester of the 2024/2025 academic session. This registration window applies to both new and returning students.
Proper course registration is not just a formality—it’s a crucial requirement. Without registering your courses, you’re not officially recognized as a student for the semester. That means no lectures, no exam access, and no student portal privileges. Here’s a complete breakdown of how to go through the registration process smoothly and avoid penalties.
Important Requirements Before You Register Courses
To successfully complete your course registration at LASU, here’s what every student must do:
- Pay at least 70% of your school fees (Stream 1) or 50% (Stream 2)
- Register your courses online via the university’s portal
- Make necessary course adjustments by adding or removing courses (course operations)
- Print your Course Registration Form and Exam Slip
- Submit both forms to your Head of Department (HOD) for official endorsement
Late Registration Warning: A late registration portal may open after the deadline, but it comes with a ₦5,000 penalty. Avoid unnecessary fees by completing your registration early.
