Eligibility Requirements

To qualify for the Google Student Researcher Program, applicants must:

  • Be enrolled full-time in a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD program in:
    • Computer Science
    • Linguistics
    • Statistics or Biostatistics
    • Applied Mathematics
    • Operations Research
    • Economics
    • Natural Sciences
    • Or a related field.
  • Possess experience in at least one of these areas:
    • Natural Language Understanding
    • Human-Computer Interaction

    • Machine Learning/Deep Learning
    • Quantum Information Science

Preferred Qualifications

  • Enrollment in a full-time degree program in the EMEA region, with plans to return after the program.

  • Proficiency in programming languages such as C/C++, Java, Python, MATLAB, or Go.
