Five students from three schools have emerged victorious at the Creative Talent Incubator Programme, a two-day event organized by Ark Zero Five Foundation in Lagos. This initiative, designed to nurture artistic talents among primary school students, brought together over 40 students from seven schools within the Ejigbo Model School Complex.

The programme featured workshops, mentorship sessions, exhibitions, and hands-on art creation led by seasoned creative professionals and art teachers. It aimed to equip participants with essential drawing techniques and inspire artistic growth.

The five winners were rewarded with cash prizes ranging from ₦20,000 to ₦30,000 and art starter packs to further their creative pursuits. Schools represented at the event included Imakiyo Primary School, Ejigbo Model Primary School, Fadu Memorial Primary School, Oba Muruf Primary School, and Adegboyega Nursery and Primary School.

Olajide Olukayode Babalola, a member of the Ark Zero Five Foundation, emphasized the programme’s importance in empowering children and addressing societal challenges. “We are a non-profit NGO committed to creating a better environment for our youths. This initiative supports children and helps them harness their talents as a means of social action,” he said, pledging continued support for the participants’ development.

Mrs. R.M. Gbadamosi, Head of Social Mobilisation at Oshodi-Isolo Local Government, commended the foundation for its grassroots efforts in nurturing young talents, stating, “Empowering children to achieve their God-given potential is highly commendable.”

Ark Zero Five Foundation expressed optimism about the programme’s future, announcing plans to expand its initiatives and continue supporting young talents.

This event reflects the foundation’s mission to inspire creativity, empower the next generation, and provide children with the tools to achieve their dreams.
