Admission Requirements for Gateway ICT Polytechnic 2025/2026

ND Admission Requirements

To be eligible for National Diploma admission, candidates must:

• Select Gateway ICT Polytechnic as first choice in the 2025 UTME or be ready to do a change of institution.
• Obtain a minimum JAMB score of 120.
• Have at least five (5) O’Level credit passes, including English Language and Mathematics, in not more than two sittings.
• Meet the subject combination requirements for the intended course.
• Be at least 16 years old at the time of admission.
• Participate in the Post-UTME screening exercise.

HND Admission Requirements

To apply for the Higher National Diploma programme, applicants must:

• Hold a relevant ND certificate with at least Lower Credit from a recognized polytechnic.
• Possess at least one year of Industrial Training (IT) experience (two years for candidates with ND Pass).
• Have at least five (5) O’Level credits, including English and Mathematics, in not more than two sittings.
• Ensure their transcripts are sent directly to Gateway ICT Polytechnic.
• Take part in the polytechnic’s HND screening exercise.
