The Nigeria Police Academy (POLAC) is now accepting applications for its 11th Regular Course Degree Programmes. This opportunity is open to Nigerian citizens of good character, offering a combined academic and police training programme leading to a Bachelor’s Degree.

Eligibility Requirements
To qualify for admission, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Be a Nigerian citizen by birth.
- Have a National Identity Number (NIN).
- Score 180 or above in the 2024 UTME and select Nigeria Police Academy, Wudil as their first choice.
- Possess at least six credits in WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB (including English and Mathematics) in no more than two sittings.
- Be aged between 17 and 21 years by 31st October 2024.
- Meet height and chest requirements:
- Male: 1.67m (minimum height) and 86cm chest (expanded).
- Female: 1.64m (minimum height).
- Be medically, physically, and psychologically fit.
- Must not be married or pregnant.
- Have valid email and phone contact details.
Note: Certificates issued before 2021 will not be accepted.
Application Procedure
- Visit the Application Portal: Go to the POLAC Admission Portal to generate an RRR Code.
- Pay Application Fee: Use the RRR to pay the ₦5,500 application fee at any commercial bank.
- Complete the Online Form: Fill out the form and upload scanned copies of required documents:
- SSCE Results
- Birth Certificate
- Certificate of Origin
- Print and Submit:
- Print the completed application form and guarantor form.
- Submit these at the Nigeria Police Academy, Wudil.
Aptitude Test and Screening Process
Computer-Based Aptitude Test (CBT)
- Location: Nigeria Police Academy ICT Centre, Wudil.
- Date: To be announced via email/SMS.
Automated Physical Screening
Shortlisted candidates will undergo a physical screening exercise at the academy. Applicants must present the following original documents:
- Educational qualifications
- Birth certificate or declaration of age
- Medical fitness certificate from a recognized hospital
- Evidence of good character from a village or district head
- Indigene certificate signed by the Local Government Chairman or Secretary
- Guarantor form from an authorized public servant (minimum GL13), police officer (minimum CSP), or equivalent rank in the armed forces or paramilitary services
Medical Screening and Interview
Candidates who pass the CBT will proceed to medical screening, followed by an automated interview and final selection.

- BSc in Accounting, Economics, Management Science, Political Science, Psychology, Sociology
Programme Duration and Outcome
- Duration: Five years of academic and police training.
- Outcome: Bachelor’s Degree and commissioning into the Nigeria Police Force as Assistant Superintendents of Police (ASP II).
