The first batch of the Nnamdi Azikiwe University (UNIZIK) admission list for the 2024/2025 academic session is now available. Prospective students can currently check their admission status on the JAMB portal, with the list also expected on the UNIZIK admission portal soon. Here’s a step-by-step guide to accessing your admission status:

How to Check Admission Status on the JAMB Portal

1. Visit the JAMB eFacility Portal: Go to JAMB eFacility.
2. Log In to Your Profile: Enter your JAMB username and password.
3. Navigate to Admission Status: Scroll down, find, and click the “Check Admission Status” tab.
4. Select Admission Status: Choose “Access my CAPS” or “Check Admission Status.”
5. Switch to Desktop View (Mobile Users): Tap the three dots (⋮) on your browser, select “Desktop site” for better navigation.
6. View Your Admission Status: You will see one of three results:
   • Congratulations: Accept or reject your admission.
   • Admission in Progress: Check back in a few days or weeks.
   • Not Admitted: Remain hopeful, as the list may still update.

Checking Admission Status on the UNIZIK Portal (When Available)

Once the list is uploaded on the UNIZIK admission portal:

1. Visit the UNIZIK Admission Portal: UNIZIK Admission Portal.
2. Enter Your Registration Number: Type your JAMB registration number in the required field.
3. Click on “Next” and view your admission status.

Important Notes for Admitted Students

1. Physical Clearance: Complete physical clearance within the registration period; failure to do so results in admission termination.
2. Course Registration: Register your courses on time to be eligible for examinations.
3. Submit Documents: Ensure all registration printouts are submitted in a file to your department’s Head of Department (HOD) before exams.
