Admission Update
The Federal Polytechnic, Ukana has published its admission list for the 2024/2025 academic session. Candidates who participated in the screening exercise can now verify their admission status. The list contains names of successful candidates admitted into the National Diploma (ND) programmes.

How to Check Admission Status

Follow these steps to confirm your admission:

1. Visit the Federal Polytechnic, Ukana admission portal.
2. Click on the “Admission Status” tab.
3. Enter your JAMB registration number in the provided field.
4. Click “Continue” to view your admission status.

Instructions for Admitted Candidates

Candidates who have been offered provisional admission should:

1. Pay the acceptance fee and school fees promptly.
2. Submit fee receipts to the Bursary for verification.
3. Proceed to the Academic Affairs Unit for documentation.

Next Steps for Applicants

• For Candidates Not on the First List: Wait for the release of the second admission list.
• Change of Institution Applicants: Ensure your results are uploaded correctly on the JAMB portal. Missing or unverified results may lead to disqualification.

Admission Confirmation on JAMB CAPS

1. Log in to the JAMB CAPS portal.
2. Accept the admission offer.
3. Print your JAMB admission letter and submit both the original and photocopies to the institution during documentation.

Session Commencement and Payment Deadlines

• The 2024/2025 academic session begins on Monday, 25th November 2024.
• All fee payments and registrations must be completed within three weeks of resumption.
• Late registration will attract penalties.

Payment Guidelines

For New Students:

1. Access the Federal Polytechnic, Ukana portal.
2. Click “First Year School Fees” on the portal.
3. Enter your JAMB registration number and follow the instructions.
4. Pay online using the generated e-invoice and save the Remita Reference Number (RRR).
5. Verify payment on the portal using the “Verify” option.

For Returning Students:

1. Enter your matriculation number on the portal.
2. Follow the same steps as outlined for new students to complete payment.

Important Note: All payments must be made through the portal. Physical cash payments are prohibited.

Hostel Accommodation

Interested students should visit the Students Affairs Unit on the Main Campus after completing the necessary payment through the portal.
