Nnamdi Azikiwe University (UNIZIK) has announced its supplementary admission exercise for the 2024/2025 academic session. This process provides candidates who were not initially admitted the opportunity to secure a spot in select programmes. Here’s everything you need to know to successfully apply.
Who Can Apply?
The supplementary admission exercise is open to UTME candidates who meet the following criteria:
- Unadmitted Candidates: Applicants who have not yet gained admission into any department at UNIZIK.
- Programme Flexibility: Candidates willing to transfer to the listed programmes with available spaces.
- O’Level Results: Ensure your O’level results are uploaded on the JAMB CAPS portal.
- Acceptance of Transfers: Be prepared to accept a transfer offer to a new programme via JAMB CAPS as soon as it is available.
Note: Intra-university transfers are only permitted after completing two years of study in your admitted programme.

Application Process
Follow these simple steps to apply:
- Access the Application Portal: Visit the UNIZIK supplementary admission portal and log in to your profile.
- Post-UTME Registration:
- If you have already purchased the Post-UTME form, proceed to the shopping section.
- If not, complete the purchase and upload your O’level results.
- Select Eligible Programmes: Click the “shopping” tab on the left-hand side of the portal to view eligible programmes based on your qualifications.
- Reserve a Spot: Select your preferred programme and click “reserve spot” if space is available.
- Payment: Pay a ₦15,000 shopping fee online (bank charges not included).
Important: Reservations will expire after six hours if payment is not completed.
Key Notes for Applicants
- Ensure successful payment to confirm your programme reservation.
- Monitor the JAMB CAPS portal regularly for transfer offers and accept promptly to avoid losing your admission.
- Payments for reservations are non-refundable, so only cancel if absolutely necessary.

The supplementary admission process begins on Thursday, 21st November 2024, at 12 noon. Act quickly to secure your spot as spaces are limited.
