Eligibility Requirements

General Requirements

• Five O’Level credits, including English Language and Mathematics, obtained in not more than two sittings.
• Three additional credits relevant to the field of study.

Postgraduate Diploma (PGD)

• Third Class Honours degree in a relevant discipline from a recognised university or an Upper Credit HND.
• For unclassified HND, a CGPA of 3.50 (5-point scale), 3.00 (4-point scale), or 60% is acceptable.

Master’s Degree (M.Sc., M.Ed., M.Eng.)

• A first degree with at least Second Class Honours or an HND with Upper Credit and a PGD in a relevant field.
• Other qualifications as approved by the university Senate.

Doctor of Philosophy (PhD)

• A Master’s degree including coursework and research with a CGPA of at least 4.00 (5-point scale), 3.00 (4-point scale), or 60%.

Visit the MOUAU postgraduate portal to begin the application process.

Step 2: Payment

Pay a non-refundable fee of ₦25,000 via the Remita platform at www.remita.net.

Step 3: Complete the Application Form

Fill out the application form on the MOUAU portal.

Step 4: Transcript Application Label

Print the Transcript Application Label displayed on the portal and forward it to the institution where you earned your qualifying degree.
