Modibbo Adama University (MAU), Yola, has released its postgraduate admission form for the 2025/2026 academic session. Eligible candidates can now apply for Postgraduate Diploma (PGD), Master’s, and Doctorate (PhD) programs across various faculties. The application form costs ₦15,000 and is available online.
General Admission Requirements
- Minimum of five O’Level credit passes, including English Language and Mathematics.
Specific Admission Requirements
Postgraduate Diploma (PGD)
- A Third-Class degree in a related field from a recognized university, or
- HND with a Lower Credit (minimum CGPA 3.50 on a 5-point scale), or
- Equivalent professional qualifications recognized by the University Senate.
- In special cases, candidates may take additional tests if they don’t meet standard criteria.
Master’s Degree (M.Sc, M.A, M.Eng, M.Tech, etc.)
- Second-Class Honours degree in a relevant discipline, or
- Equivalent qualification from a recognized university.
- Candidates with Third-Class or HND may be considered if they’ve completed a PGD (with at least Lower Credit) or pass a qualifying exam.
Doctor of Philosophy (PhD)
- A Master’s degree with at least a CGPA of 3.50 or 60% and above.
- Equivalent qualifications from other recognized institutions are also accepted.
How To Apply
- Visit the SPGS portal: pgmau.admissions.cloud
- Register with a valid email or phone number.
- Purchase an application PIN for ₦15,000 using your login.
- Fill out the application form accurately and submit it online.
- Print two copies of your completed application.
- Submit your academic documents in duplicate to the SPGS office.
- Complete and send the online Transcript Request Form to your previous institution. Transcripts must be sent directly to: The Secretary,
School of Postgraduate Studies,
Modibbo Adama University of Technology, Yola.
Important:
Applications without official transcripts will not be processed.
