Admission Requirements and Programme Duration

Ph.D Programmes

• Master’s degree with at least 60% score
• Duration: 36–48 months (Full-time), 48–60 months (Part-time)
• Includes coursework and a thesis

M.Phil/Ph.D Programmes

• Master’s result between 55%–59.99%
• First 12 months as M.Phil
• Possible upgrade to Ph.D after scoring 60% and review by the department

Master’s Degree Programmes

• Bachelor’s degree with at least Second Class Lower
• Duration: 12–24 months (Full-time), 24–36 months (Part-time)
• Includes coursework and a research dissertation

Other Important Notes

• Candidates not completing their programme within the timeline may apply for a 12-month extension
• Working applicants must present an official release letter from their employer
• Transcripts must be sent directly from previous institutions (non-FUOYE graduates only)
