• Five (5) O’Level credit passes, including English Language, Mathematics, and two relevant science subjects.
• A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant science discipline from a recognized university with at least a pass.
• Holders of Higher National Diploma (HND) in relevant fields must have a minimum of Upper Credit.

Master’s Degree (M.Sc.) Requirements

ESUT offers two categories of Master’s programs:

• Academic Master’s Programs qualify candidates for higher degrees.
• Professional Master’s Programs are terminal and do not lead to further academic progression.

Academic Master’s Program Requirements:

• A Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university with at least a Second Class Lower Division (CGPA of 3.0/5.0).
• A Third Class Bachelor’s degree or HND with a PGD (CGPA of 3.0/5.0) may also be considered.

Professional Master’s Program Requirements:

• A minimum of Second Class Lower Division in a relevant field.
• A Third Class Bachelor’s degree or HND, along with a PGD at credit level (CGPA of 3.0/5.0 or 50% on a weighted percentage average).
• Candidates must demonstrate strong intellectual capacity, problem-solving skills, and decision-making abilities.

Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) Requirements

• Five (5) O’Level credit passes, including English Language, Mathematics, and two other relevant subjects.
• A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university with at least a Second Class Lower Division (CGPA of 3.0/5.0).
• An academic Master’s degree in a relevant field with a CGPA of at least 4.0/5.0.
• The Master’s thesis must have been graded at least 60% (B grade).
• Candidates should demonstrate strong intellectual capacity, maturity, and problem-solving abilities.
