The College of Nursing Sciences, Adazi-Nnukwu (CONSA) is now accepting applications for its Basic Midwifery programme for the 2024/2025 academic session. If you are interested in pursuing a career in midwifery, this is your chance to apply.

Admission Requirements

To qualify for admission, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Obtain at least five (5) credits in English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, and Physics from WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB (maximum of two sittings).
• Combination of results is only allowed for the same examination body (e.g., WAEC/WAEC or NECO/NECO). NABTEB cannot be combined with WAEC, NECO, or another NABTEB result.
• If using NABTEB, all required credits must be in one result.
• Provide an original certificate or a computer printout of WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB results. Awaiting results are not accepted.
• Submit a testimonial from the school where WAEC or NECO was completed.
• Present a birth certificate from the National Population Commission, a government hospital, or a court declaration of age.
• Provide an active and functional personal email address.

How to Apply for CONSA Basic Midwifery Admission

Follow these steps to complete your application:

1. Pay a non-refundable application fee of ₦15,500 to the designated bank account.

   • Ensure the payment is made in the candidate’s name.
2. Payment Methods:
   • Pay directly at the bank.
   • Use your bank app for payment.
   • Pay through a POS machine.
3. If paying via bank app or POS, enter the candidate’s name and programme applied for in the narration or remark section.
4. For bank app payments, screenshot and print the bank transaction receipt (not the alert or text message).
5. Upload your bank teller or transaction receipt after payment.
6. On the exam day, bring proof of payment for verification.
