Audu Bako College of Agriculture, Dambatta (ABCOAD) has received accreditation from the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE) for 12 programmes. This approval includes both National Diploma (ND) and Higher National Diploma (HND) courses.

Accreditation Confirmation

The accreditation was confirmed in an official letter dated 14th February 2025, signed by Sama’ila Tanko, the Director of the Monotechnic Programmes Department at NBTE.

The Provost of ABCOAD, Prof. M.A. Wailare, highlighted that this milestone would:

• Strengthen the institution’s reputation and academic credibility.
• Improve the quality of education and align courses with industry standards.
• Enhance student employability by ensuring they graduate from accredited programmes.

He also acknowledged the support of the Kano State Government, led by Engr. Abba Kabir Yusuf, along with the efforts of faculty members, department heads, and stakeholders in securing the accreditation.
