1924 – 1928

The 1924 Chrysler logo was a sleek, elegant seal that featured a golden wax stamp with the brand's name on a diagonal banner. Two short blue ribbons emerged from behind the stamp at the bottom right corner.

1928 – 1930

In 1928, Chrysler adopted a new logo designed by Oliver Clark, inspired by Roman mythology. The logo featured a wax seal with two wings, symbolizing speed and the brand's commitment to quality.

1930 – 1936

By 1930, the wings were removed, and the logo was simplified to a seal with a burgundy and gold color palette, which conveyed luxury and quality.

1936 – 1950

The 1936 logo reintroduced wings, this time in silver with black horizontal stripes, giving the logo a more streamlined and powerful look.

1950 – 1951

In 1950, Chrysler briefly experimented with a bold new design featuring a black shield with a gold lion rampant holding a red crest. This design lasted just one year.

1951 – 1955

The 1951 logo featured a three-dimensional bird, symbolizing speed and progress. However, this emblem was short-lived, staying in use for only four years.

1955 – 1962

In 1955, the logo was modernized, consisting of two horizontal ticks—one long and sharp in black, overlapping a shorter red one. This minimalist design was used for seven years.

1962 – 1980

The 1962 redesign brought the iconic Pentastar logo, a five-pointed star formed by five solid triangles. The star was accompanied by the word "Chrysler" in a bold, geometric sans-serif typeface.

1980 – 1990

During the 1980s, Chrysler adopted a wordmark-based logo with futuristic, confident lines. The "R" letters were uniquely open, adding individuality to the brand's identity.

1990 – 1993

In 1990, Chrysler returned to the winged seal design, but with a sleeker and more elongated look. The seal was placed inside an oval, adding sophistication to the brand's visual identity.

1993 – 1995

Chrysler paid homage to its original logo in 1993, bringing back the seal with minor tweaks, such as a blue ribbon and slight refinements in the design.

1995 – 1998

The 1995 logo featured a thicker roundel with gold surfaces that became more glossy. The logo's other elements, including the wings and ribbon, were subtly refined.

1998 – 2000

In 1998, Chrysler's logo incorporated the black and gold roundel between two elongated, sharp wings. This version evoked a sense of power and refinement, with a bold black uppercase wordmark beneath it.

2000 – 2008

By 2000, Chrysler returned to using the Pentastar emblem, placing it to the left of the wordmark. The new typeface used for the wordmark was more traditional and bolder than previous iterations.

2008 – 2009

In 2008, the Pentastar became the central element of the logo, growing larger and more prominent, with the wordmark placed underneath it.

2009 – 2023

From 2009, the Chrysler logo adopted a more chic, elegant interpretation of its winged emblem. The wings were smoother and fuller, and the blue and silver color palette reflected professionalism and stability.

2023 – Present

In 2023, Chrysler introduced a refreshed logo based on the 2009 version, but with a more minimalistic approach. The iconic wings were drawn in flat black lines, and the wordmark was updated to a medium-weight sans-serif typeface, featuring futuristic shapes with some open contours for a modern and sleek look.
