Table of Contents

Introduction

Osun State Polytechnic (OSPOLY), located in Iree, Osun State, Nigeria, was originally established in 1981 as a satellite campus of the Polytechnic, Ibadan. It became a fully autonomous institution in October 1992, when the law establishing the polytechnic was signed by the state’s first executive governor, Otunba Isiaka Adetunji Adeleke.

The primary aim of OSPOLY is to produce middle-level manpower with a strong focus on science, engineering, environmental studies, information and communication technology, management, and financial studies. Over the years, OSPOLY has grown significantly and now offers more than 30 accredited programs, with approvals from the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE) and the National Commission for Colleges of Education (NCCE).
