Introduction
Olusegun Agagu University of Science and Technology (OAUSTECH), located in Okitipupa, Ondo State, Nigeria, is a public university founded in 2008 by the Ondo State government. Initially named the Ondo State University of Science and Technology (OSUSTECH), it was renamed in 2019 to honor the late Dr. Olusegun Agagu, a former governor of Ondo State and a key figure in the establishment of the institution.
OAUSTECH is a technology-driven institution with a mission to provide manpower training for the industrial and technological development of Ondo State and Nigeria. Leadership and Recent Developments
In December 2020, Prof. Temi Emmanuel Ologunorisa was appointed as the university’s vice-chancellor, with his role becoming effective on February 23, 2022, following approval by Ondo State Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu.
