A JAMB Admission Letter: What Is It?

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) issues an official document known as an admission letter to candidates who have been granted provisional admission into various tertiary institutions in Nigeria.

The 2024 admission letter can now be downloaded and printed via JAMB webpage. Here’s how to use a cyber café, or your smartphone to access and print out your admission notification slip.

Please take note of the following mandatory information:

  • Type of Examination: UTME
  • Year of Examination: 2024/2025
  • File format: PDF
  • Printing fee: N3,000 (Three thousand naira)
  • Printing portal: https://slipsprinting.jamb.gov.ng/

The following essential qualifications are included in the JAMB admission letter:

  • The candidate’s personal details

  • Duration of the course

    • When registering for the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), graduates must provide their JAMB acceptance letter.

The process of printing your JAMB admission letter is simple. Take the following steps to print your admission letter:

Procedures for Printing Admission Letters :

  • Go to the e-Facility Portal for JAMB.
  • Enter your JAMB profile login.
    • In order to access your JAMB profile, please enter your email address and password. You must create a JAMB profile by selecting the “Create e-Facility Account/Login” button and going through the registration process if you don’t already have one.
  •  Access the Admission Letter Printing Service.
    • After successfully logging in, find the “Print Admission Letter” tab and click on it. This will take you to the page where you can print your admission letter.
  • Make Payment.
    • To view and print your admission letter, you will need to pay ₦3,000 (three thousand naira). Use one of the available payment options (bank, online, etc.) and follow the on-screen instructions to finish the transaction.
  • Choose the Year of Your Exam.
    • You will be asked to choose your exam year once the payment has been validated. Select “2024” using the drop-down option.
  • Put in your registration number for JAMB.
    • After inputting your JAMB registration number in the designated area, select “Print Admission Letter.”
  •  Print Your Admission Letter.
    • On the screen, your JAMB admission letter will appear. Make sure everything is accurate by carefully going over all of the details. To print a hard copy of your admission letter, click the “Print” button. Printing many copies for future use is highly recommended.

To conveniently print your JAMB admission letter, you can, however, visit any nearby JAMB-accredited CBT center.
