The National Youth Service Corps has earlier on August 7th, 2024 announced the commencement date for Batch B stream orientation in a leyter addressed to all its Directors, State coordinators and staff.
In the brief letter, the Director-general, A.W. Ikaka announced that the orientation course for Batch B stream II is scheduled to commence in the thirsty six (36) states and FCT on Wednesday 28th August, 2024.
Further vital details contained in the letter include:
Registration: Wednesday, 28th to Friday, 30th August, 2024
Cut-Off Date: Midnight Friday, 30th August, 2024.
Swearing-In: Friday, 30th August, 2024.
Closing: Tuesday, 17th September, 2024.
With regards to these information, the deadline for registration is set at midnight on Friday, August 30, 2024.
The swearing-in ceremony, which marks the official start of the service year for the new corps members, is scheduled for Friday, August 30, 2024.
The course will then proceed through various activities aimed at preparing corps members for the service year. A closing ceremony then comes on Tuesday, September 17, 2024, marking the end of camp.
