Modalities of the ND II Direct Programme
- Duration and Certification: The programme spans one academic session and awards a National Diploma (ND) certificate.
- Eligibility:
- Graduates with Pass grades from accredited ND/NID programmes (via JAMB UTME).
- Ordinary Diploma holders from recognised institutions prior to December 2020.
- Applicants must meet O’Level requirements (five credits in relevant subjects).
- IJMB and NCE certificate holders are ineligible.
- Industrial Experience:
- Graduates with Credit grades: One-year industrial experience.
- Graduates with Pass grades: Two years of industrial experience.
Admission Procedure
- Step 1: Purchase the JAMB Direct Entry Form from a JAMB State Office.
- Step 2: Select Kano State Polytechnic and the desired ND programme during the application.
- Step 3: Present the JAMB Direct Entry Admission Letter to the Academic Department for data updates.
Key Notes
- Enrolment is capped at 30% of the approved NBTE carrying capacity.
- Departments must process admission requests through the Academic Department for NBTE approval.
