In a move aimed at enhancing the administration of Ekiti State College of Health Sciences and Technology, Ijero-Ekiti, Governor Biodun Oyebanji has appointed a new governing council. The council, led by Dr. Femi Thomas as Chairman, includes four other members chosen for their expertise and dedication to public service.

The newly formed council includes experienced individuals tasked with guiding the college in delivering high-quality health sciences education. The members appointed by Governor Oyebanji are:

  • Mrs. Omolayo Tinuke Oluremi
  • Mr. Kayode Aina
  • Dr. Ola Babayemi Idowu
  • Chief Ade Adeyemo

Governor Oyebanji emphasized that these appointments reflect a commitment to ensuring the college operates with professionalism and adheres to high standards.

Roles and Responsibilities

Announced by Mr. Yinka Oyebode, the Governor’s Special Adviser on Media, the new governing council is expected to oversee the college’s administration and contribute to improved service delivery. The council’s duties include:

Effective Date of Appointment

The appointments will officially begin on Monday, 7th October 2024, marking the start of a new phase for the Ekiti State College of Health Sciences and Technology.
