The Akanu Ibiam Federal Polytechnic, Unwana, is an institution in the Nigerian state of Ebonyi. Throughout the institution’s establishment in 1981, the federal government has owned the polytechnic. The First Republic Governor of Nigeria’s Eastern Region, Akanu Ibiam, is honored by the name.
