Edo State University (EDSU), Uzairue, is offering full and partial scholarships for the 2024/2025 academic session to foster academic excellence and provide financial support for indigent students from Edo State.
Scholarship Categories
- Undergraduate Full Scholarship Award (UFSA):
For candidates who chose EDSU as their first choice in UTME, scored a minimum of 260, and exhibit outstanding academic performance. Only five awards are available. - Indigent Students Scholarship Award (ISSA):
For Edo State indigent students with a minimum UTME score of 180. It covers tuition fees for eligible programmes, excluding Medicine, Nursing, Law, Medical Laboratory Science, and Engineering.
Eligibility Criteria
- Participation in the 2024/2025 UTME.
- Minimum UTME scores: 260 for UFSA and 180 for ISSA.
- Proficiency in written and spoken English.
- Edo State applicants for ISSA must provide proof of indigency.
- Candidates must meet all entry requirements for their selected course.
Important Note
These scholarships are not applicable to oversubscribed programmes, including Medicine, Law, Nursing, Medical Laboratory Science, and Engineering.
Screening and Interview Details
- Date: Monday, 25th November 2024
- Time: 9:00 a.m.
- The selection process includes a Computer-Based Test (CBT).
