Overview of the NYSC Passing-Out (POP) Programme
The Passing-Out ceremony will be conducted in a low-key fashion, with several key activities spread across different dates. Below is the complete schedule for the 2023 Batch ‘C’ Stream II Corps members.
NYSC Passing-Out Programme Schedule
- Tuesday, 15th – Friday, 18th October 2024
- Release of Corps Members by Employers: Corps members will be officially released by their employers to begin preparations for the passing-out ceremony.
- Job Awareness and Creation Sensitisation: NYSC, in collaboration with officers from the National Directorate of Employment (NDE), will provide sensitisation on job opportunities and entrepreneurial skills. This event will occur at the Local Government level.
- Monday, 21st – Wednesday, 23rd October 2024
- Registration and Clearance: Corps members will undergo registration and clearance with their Local Government Inspectors.
- Signing of Final Clearance: Zonal Inspectors will begin the process of signing the final clearance forms for eligible Corps members.
- Questionnaire Administration (Form 4B): A questionnaire will be given to 30% of Corps members for feedback and evaluation purposes.
- Thursday, 24th – Monday, 28th October 2024
- Continuation of Final Clearance: The signing of final clearance forms will continue for the remaining Corps members.
- Questionnaire Administration: The process of administering the questionnaire to selected Corps members will continue.
- Tuesday, 29th – Wednesday, 30th October 2024
- Final Clearance Signing: This will be the last opportunity for Corps members to have their final clearance forms signed by Zonal Inspectors.
- Thursday, 31st October 2024
- Distribution of Certificates of National Service: Corps members who have successfully completed their service year will receive their Certificates of National Service at their respective Local Government Offices.

- Ensure You Are Cleared: All Corps members must complete their final clearance to be eligible for the certificate collection.
